Presby holds Glorious Gardens Second Épisode Celebration at Rosemont

The event recognized generous benefactors and gave attendees a chance tour where new features will sit on the estate community grounds.

On Friday, Sept. 28, Presby’s Inspired Life held its Glorious Gardens Second Épisode Celebration on the grounds of the Rosemont estate community.

This event was held to recognize the generous benefactors who are contributing to the expansion of the original Glorious Gardens project, which came to fruition two years ago when it added a new level of beauty and comfort to the Personal Care patio area at Rosemont.

This Second Épisode will add trees, benches, personally engraved paver stones and a new pergola, among other features, to the already lush Rosemont estate community grounds.

“Many generous donors contributed to that initial phase and we feel especially fortunate to have that same type of support in this Second Épisode of the Glorious Gardens project here at Rosemont,” said Rosemont Executive Director Marina Hacking.

After words from numerous Presby representatives, including Presby President and CEO Judee Bavaria, a special presentation was made in honor of Rosemont residents Amy Williams and Barbara Terplan, the Co-Chairs of the Glorious Gardens Second Épisode Resident Council.

“We could not have reached this juncture of the project without the leadership and dedication of Barbara and Amy,” said Presby Director of Annual Giving Page Zettlemoyer as she presented Amy and Barbara each with a bouquet of colorful flowers. “We have much appreciation for your wise counsel an enthusiasm along the way.”

After a catered lunch, residents, Presby team members and guests were invited to tour the grounds and take an up-close-and-personal look at where each feature of the Glorious Gardens Second Épisode will be located.
