Presby to hold annual Day of Inspiration service event on June 23

June 08, 2017

An estimated 100-150 volunteers and counting are set to donate their time and efforts during numerous activities across Presby communities.

Presby’s Inspired Life is gearing up to hold its annual Day of Inspiration on Friday, June 23.

Created by Presby team members to enhance the communities they serve, the Day of Inspiration is a volunteer effort that engages team members, residents of Presby communities and community neighbors in a day of service to address the critical needs of the local community.

This year’s Day of Inspiration will see an estimated 100-150 volunteers serve on behalf of various Presby communities at service activities throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

A sampling of this year’s activities:
Grace Court in Yeadon, Delaware County will be hosting a water drive for first responders during which local political leaders are scheduled to attend. A revitalization of a local garden will also take place.

Mantua in West Philadelphia will be hosting a meal preparation event in conjunction with the Ralston Center.

Broomall will host a donation drive for nearby Providence Animal Shelter

For a full listing of activities and participating communities, please see the Day of Inspiration page.

All are invited to share their time with us and serve the local Philadelphia community.
